Sports in KMB

Students of KMB are compulsory to join one sport club as the requirement needed in IB. This is to fulfill one aspect of CAS, which is Action. There are 16 sports clubs overall, with their own advisors. Most of the sport clubs meeting are held on evenings once or twice weekly. In fact, there might be friendly matches depending on their own initiative to contact other college. The match can be held either outside of the college or in the college. Since KMB provides many sports facilities such as tennis court, netball court, basketball court, volleyball court, petanque compound, racquets and of course field, KMB is a suitable place to held or organized a sport event. KMB had once organized a sport event named KASUKMA where the match includes Kolej Mara(KM) and Kolej Profesional Mara(KPM). The event involve numerous sports match such as netball match, volleyball match, basketball match, football, petanque, and futsal. The event turned out to be a successful one.

The sport clubs in KMB, as any club in other school or college really aids their students to show their hidden skills in playing sports as there are many types of sports that KMB provide for the students to involve in. Everyone have their own ability and specialty and with sports club, they can actually show them and even improve them to be more better as to meet the international standard. Plus, sports club also can actually improve the students interpersonal skills. The students eventually become more sensible, competitive, risk-taking and becoming more patient without themselves even noticed the improvement.
