3. Activities

Some of the activities carried out by our creative and diligent students are as follows:

I. Hand Printing

A white cloth had been provided by the group also with the support and cooperation by the pupils of the school, the hand printing was brilliant.

II. Landscape Building

One of the groups started with an early RM 50, whereby each of the 10 members of the group provided RM 5 each. With the money they had, they bought some items such as crisps , boxes of drinks , and some fruit tarts. As a result, they got a surplus ( benefit ) of more or less about RM 200, as they used the money to make a small landscape near the side of the pool by clearing the pebbles and rocks at the surface of the planned area and started to plant some seeds such as chilli and papaya

III. Sports Day

Balls , water balloons and etc were involved in some of the activities and with careful planning and supervision, it was a success.

IV. Trip to Aquaria

A total of 30 students from the school was selected. The cost was seemingly quite high , costing about some thousands but they were able to pull it off. An underwater adventure consisting of sharks, aquatic species and rare fishes were exploited and discovered during the venture, who knows how much the students had gained!

V. Birthday Celebration

Half the members were in charge of the cooking such as nuggets , sausages and other preparations while the other half was in charge of the games. The plan was a success and all the pupils were happy that day.

4. Self Reflection

“After visiting Sekolah Khas Klang, I’ve finally realised the importance and hard work put into taking care of the people of unfortunate disabilities. There should be more volunteers to help out and also to shower these people with tender love and affection. I hope to further contribute to them by playing an active role in charity.”
